Pitches are booking up fast for Camp Kin, our safe, spacious creative camping weekends, but there’s still availability and we’d love for you to join us!
Camp Kin takes place on the 23-26th July, the 30th July – 2nd August and the 6-9th August 2021.
Our bookers have been beavering away putting together a line up of activities to keep our campers entertained. There’s plenty of nature-based content,a dedicated Wellness Area to make the most of the beautiful Shambala site and even our very own crazy golf course!
Camp Kin is very much a campsite retreat. It’s about enjoying the natural beauty of the estate that has been home to Shambala for years. It’s about rekindling connection to the wider world again. It’s about good honest camping, with a festival flavour.
There’s plenty of free activities to take part in, plus some pre-booked and paid for activities led by expert tutors.
When you book you’ll get a choice of spacious pitches, whether you’re bringing your own tent, campervan, caravan or opting for something a bit more swanky,
If you fancy a luxurious stay under canvas, we’ve got plenty of pre-pitched tipis, bell tents and yurts from Fred’s Yurts and Hearthworks – two of our long-term Shambala glamping partners.
Adult tickets are set at £99, Kids tickets at £35 (with under 5s going free).
All ‘people’ tickets must be bought in conjunction with a pitch. Bring your own tent pitches start at just £35 (for a maximum of 6 people per pitch) and camper van pitches are £50. Prices for the various glamping packages can be found on our website, HERE.
FOOD, DRINK & CASHLESS
As with Shambala, Camp Kin will be all-singing, all-dancing, all-vegetarian. Expect a handful of traders offering hearty, delicious all-veggie grub.
You are of course more than welcome to bring your own meat along in your cool box to cook at camp. Find out more about our array of scumptious Food Traders HERE – and read all about our sustainability standards HERE.
There’ll also be well stocked bar (on a bus!) serving up wonderful cocktails, wines, spirits, locally sourced ales, beers, ciders and delicious soft drinks.
Conscious of keeping everything as COVID-safe as possible, reducing touch points and keeping queues to a minimum, we’ll be trailling an RFID cashless systems provided by Playpass. Read all about that HERE.
A WORD ON CAMP KIN & COVID-19
Just like our Carry On Kelmarsh events last summer, Camp Kin is designed and built to run in a safe, socially distanced capacity. This means that if restrictions are extended, we’re still safe for the go-ahead!
Should the country ‘unlock’ by this time, we’ll be able to relax things on site – however if for whatever reason you’d rather keep things socially distanced even if ‘normality’ has resumed, you are very welcome to do so, and the site is set up to facilitate this.
Book with confidence knowing that tickets are refundable up to 4 weeks before the event for any reason. In event of a forced Covid-19 cancellation (eg another national lockdown) tickets would of course be refundable. you can read more about our Covid safety policies and ticket terms and conditions, HERE.
