Today we have the pleasure of letting you know that American thrash-metal icons Megadeth are now reconfirmed for Sweden Rock Festival 2022.
For next year?s festival, the first day (Wedn June 8th) becomes an almost-full day, as we open the gates at 1:00 pm. That same night, Megadeth will greet the Sweden Rock audience, for the third time around. This is something we know that many of you are looking forward to!
After today?s announcement, another 12 bands remain to be announced for 2022.
About Megadeth (US) One of the “Big 4” of thrash metal, and a prominent name on the metal scene since their 1985 debut. Albums like “Peace sells … but who’s buying?” (1986), “Rust in peace” (1990) and “Countdown to extinction” (1992) are historical classics, and albums like, most recently, “Dystopia” (2016) have affirmed Megadeth’s status as one of the most respected names in metal.
Dave Mustaine & Co are getting ready to present their 16th studio album, which we suspect will turn out as thought-provoking and well-performed as its predecessors.
