We’re delighted to welcome back Mahalia who played at Standon back in 2019. She’s had an incredible couple of years snapping up three MOBO nominations for Best Female Act, Best R&B/Soul Act and Album Of The Year for Love and Compromise, winning in the first two categories AND winning a GRAMMY for Best R&B performance. Wow 💫
Jake Bugg is releasing his fifth album this summer. Jake is an incredibly talented singer-songwriter who brings laid-back gritty swagger to the stage. If you haven’t heard his euphoric, catchy single ‘All I need’ then stick it on immediately, close your eyes and imagine it live!
If Indie Rock is more your thing, you’ll be delighted to know past Standon performers Pale Waves are back in 2021. They were tipped for big things since the beginning, winning the NME Under The Radar award, making the BBC Sound Of 2018 shortlist and touring with fellow Dirty Hit label mates The 1975 before they even released their debut album My Mind Makes Noises.
We’re also delighted to add some more seriously cool women to the bill with the likes of dance floor influenced singer-songwriter Georgia, Hertfordshire local, pop superstar Griff, combining industrial, hip-hop and grime Shygirl is sure to deliver one of the more unmissable sets of the weekend, along with visual artist, rapper and musician Lava La Rue. There’salsoplenty more music to explore with Charlotte Jane, R.A.E and Nuha Ruby Ra.
We’ve also got some DJ legends spanning all genres to throw into the mix. We’re delighted to invite Hip Hop heavyweight Grandmaster Flash to headline Electric Willows.

Finally… the missing piece of the Standon Calling jigsaw… The Cuban Brothers will be bringing the madness to the main stage. It wouldn’t be Standon Calling without these cheeky chappies to get the crowd going.
There’s also a full comedy line upto enjoy, delicious street food to devour,a heated outdoor swimming pool to splash around in,wood burning hot tubs for some serious relaxation PLUS the annual Costume Parade and the tail-wagging Standon Calling Dog Show 🐶
