We know Rock en Seine is the end of summer festival we all wait for, where incredible international and French headline acts mix with the new artists everyone is talking about. The spaces between the magnificent tree-lined paths of the Domaine national de Saint-Cloud provide freedom and new discoveries: a unique exhibition, an association worth supporting, a stand with row upon row of rare vinyls, or maybe just a shady space to relax.
But above all, Rock en Seine is a shared moment of pleasure, of community, a time to connect and enjoy the whole experience without holding back.
Even with the greatest optimism, given the health restrictions in place today we know that the event we want to create and experience sadly cannot take place this year.
But that doesn’t mean we’re not going to be busy this summer!
Firstly, because we’re already working on the line up for Rock en Seine 2022 and it will be worth the two-year wait! The 2022 edition of Rock en Seine 2022 promises to be one to remember. Stay tuned for more news before the end of the summer!
Meanwhile, we’re also working on other projects. The Première Seine showcase for high-school students is underway and the winning groups will perform a special concert in one of our partner venues this autumn.
Plus, we’ll be supporting new French bands with our Club Avant Seine 2021, just like we did in 2020 with Bandit Bandit, Lucie Antunes, Michelle Blades, Quinzequinze and Structures. In June we’ll announce our selection of artists and some of their new material you can discover all summer.
Finally, because we really miss you, we’re going to pull out all the stops and (health restrictions permitting) put on an alternative event: a unique celebration in-keeping with the spirit of Rock en Seine at the end of August at the Domaine de Saint-Cloud.
Till then, stay strong, look after yourselves and keep the faith!
