When Twenty One Pilots first played pinkpop in 2014, the duo from the American city of Columbus were still relatively unknown. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun’s breakthrough with their cocky mix of just about all the relevant pop music of today came a year later, with third album Blurryface – but then it really hit. Everything Twenty One Pilots touched turned to gold. They toured almost crazy for two years and forced a break to record album Trench (2018). Already during their tour concluded in November 2019, thirteen months they announced the successor. Tyler and Josh eventually recorded Scaled and Icy separately for the most part during the corona pandemic, each in his own studio. On May 21, 2021, Twenty One Pilots celebrated the album release with an online concert that alternated old and brand new songs. If that live stream made anything clear, it’s that we have something to look forward to during Pinkpop 2022!

TICKETS
Tickets already purchased for Pinkpop 2020 and 2021 remain valid for Pinkpop in 2022, with tickets for Friday 18 June 2021 valid for Friday 17 June 2022, Saturday 19 June 2021 = Saturday 18 June 2022 and Sunday 20 June 2021 = Sunday 19 June 2022. Combi tickets also remain valid.
Regular ticket sales for the 51st edition of Pinkpop will resume on Saturday 2 October at 10.00 am, via www.pinkpop.nland www.ticketmaster.nl. Those who have applied for a voucher will, as promised, be given priority. They can therefore redeem their vouchers earlier, in the week before 2 October.
In addition, ticket holders will have the opportunity to change days or change the ticket to a combi-ticket. All cardholders will be notified in person.

This weekend Pinkpop was well defined in many of your agendas… Unfortunately, we couldn’t organize it for you this year. Still, we won’t let Pinkpop 2021 go completely unheard of! Our media partners ensure that you can enjoy the festival; not in Landgraaf but at home!
Together with NPO, NTR, BNNVARA, VPRO, NPO 3FM and 3voor12 we dived into the rich archives of the festival and were able to make a very nice selection of image and sound that we are happy to share with you.
