In 2022, Nuits Sonores is relocating its day programme to the industrial setting of the old Fagor-Brandt factories, around three stages: the main stage (for concerts and live sets), a second stage (for hybrid performances and 360° video projections), and a soundsystem serving as an urban dancefloor.
Today, we are unveiling the Day 1 line-up: already given centre stage in 2021, the Lyon scene will once again be at the heart of the festival’s 19th edition (Bernadette, Danse Musique Rhône-Alpes, Alex Autajon). They will share the live stage with Planetary Assault Systems‘ techno beats, the ecstatic rave of Gabber Modus Operandi and previously unseen creations on the 360 stage (گليثر٥٥ Glitter & Lisa Laurent present Musahara and a new a/v live show by Amazondotcom & Siete Catorce). The South-American scene will also be strongly represented on the site’s three stages, with the fusion between electronic and traditional music operated by Teto Preto, a live show by Ecuadorian producer Nicola Cruz, and the folk-infused, hectic sets of Brazilian acts BADSISTA and MC Carol.
