Vieilles Charrues Festival is the largest festival in France, attracting 280,000 fans in 2018. Located west of Brittany, its stages are named after artistic luminaries such as novelist Jack Kerouac, poet Xavier Grall and Breton-American poet Youenn Gwernig. The English translation of Festival des Vieilles Charrues literally means Old Ploughs Festival.
