Ilosaarirock Festival
Ilosaarirock Festival, one of Europe’s oldest, founded in 1971, bills itself as an outdoor festival for all ages. Comprised of multiple events over three-days, Ilosaarirock takes place near the city centre and is supported by volunteers who champion local music causes at other times of the year. Headliners over the last decade include Placebo, Pixies and Portishead.
