It still feels quite strange to announce new announcements for a festival in the current situation. But we are still hopeful – and there are still a few weeks until the end of April. So here are our highlights so far for c/o Ehrenfeld and several other acts that we are already looking forward to:
We are super excited about the energetic-wild live show of Jealous from Berlin, who have already been on the road with Amyl And The Sniffers, Viagra Boys, The Black Lips and Surfbort. Whether as tour support for Alligatoah or Herbert Grönemeyer, whether on the SPLASH main stage or in his live show »BRKN, Dicker!«: BRKN is simply a number that you should not miss. Paula Hartmann , on the other hand, combines old-school hip-hop samples with hip trap parts and catchy pop melodies. We are also very wild on Lostboi Lino, who calls the mixed sound on his album »Lost Tape« simply NuRap. The Staatsakt artist Axana aka Girlwoman , on the other hand, produces dark, danceable electro-indie pop with German-language lyrics and a touch of future soul together with her husband in the Bielefeld home office. We are also looking forward to the shows of Tristan Brusch, Bounty & Cocoa, THALA, glue, Tightill, Enola Gay, STANOVSKY, Rolf Blumig, Yasmin Umay, WARM GRAVES, Smoking, she-dog, GNOD, LAWN CHAIR and Infant Finches.
Year after year, we are super happy to have tasteful partners on board, on whose fine sense of interesting music we can rely almost deafly. These will not be lumped in 2022 and present some wonderful newcomer pearls – among others Tigermilch, SALOMEA and Brenda Blitz play at the popNRW evening and the export office BY.on from Bavaria brings promising acts such as Tilman, Diana Goldberg, The Komets and Elena Steri. The thoughts of our last c/o Ehrenfeld feel like something from another time. But the festival really existed in the festival, and in a few weeks we will revive it: with countless concerts, interesting workshops, podcasts, a colorful DIY market and so many program items that you can’t take everything with you on a weekend (sorry, but not sorry!). And as always, the complete c/o Ehrenfeld does not cost you a single cent. Crazy? Crazy! And promised!
With all the excitement about the c/o Ehrenfeld, the c/o pop Festival with our many other great acts should not fall under the table! You don’t have tickets for the festival Thursday and Friday yet? But then off to the ticket shop! The opening show with picture book in the Philharmonie is unfortunately already completely sold out, but we have several more exciting acts in the program.
