Bospop Foundation presents FestiFallz

On 8, 9 and 10 October 2021 a new event called FestiFallz will take place in Weert with performances by the best Dutch pop rock bands including Within Temptation, BLØF, Guus Meeuwis, Danny Vera, Racoon, Di-rect, Maan, Nona, DeWolff, Son Mieux and many others.

It was exciting for a while but last week we received the final green light from the government for the organization of our new event. With a fantastic line-up, FestiFallz follows in the footsteps of his great Bospop brother. Nevertheless, the music festival has a different approach and is set up on a smaller scale with an almost intimate atmosphere. FestiFallz takes place in a large tent on the famous old Bospop terrain: Sportpark Boshoven in Weert. Friday 8 October we will open at 17.00 hours, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 October at 13.00 hours.

So if you have missed Groots with a soft G so much this summer and the Friends of Amstel was a no-go this winter, then definitely come to Weert on 8, 9 and 10 October 2021. We have very well-known Netherlands on our stage, divided over three festival days. It promises to be a real party, because the artists are eager to go back on stage!

Tickets are available through www.FestiFallz.nl. Just make sure you buy tickets quickly if you want to be there. Due to the current Corona rules, we can only use 75% of our capacity.

Tickets cost €35,- for Friday. Both Saturday and Sunday the ticket price is € 49 per day. Three-day tickets cost €115,- All prices are excluding the discussion costs €1,-

For the roots of Son Mieux we go back to 2015. Camiel Meiresonne previously plays in various bands but does not want to go through life as a solo artist. Together with Timo Prins and Chayenne van der Kooij, the foundation for Son Mieux is laid. At a later stage, his brother Quinten Meiresonne will become part of the band. Within six months of the start, the band will be named Serious Talent by 3FM.

The debut album ‘Faire De Son Mieux’ will be released in 2019. An album with an ‘electronic underlayment and refined danceable indie pop’, as the band describes it. Earlier the EP ‘Vice Versa’ is released.

In July of this year, the band will not only perform as a house band in the daily program NOS Studio Tokyo. They are also with ‘1992 and Can’t Get Enough’ TopSong on Radio 2. ‘1992’ is the birthing year of Camiel Meiresonne. In May of this year ‘The Mustard Seed Pt. 1’ will be released and the infectious ‘Drive’ is the 3FM megahit.

This autumn Son Mieux will tour Europe, visiting London, Hamburg, Munich, Zurich and Vienna. But first it’s FestiFallz’s turn and Son Mieux will turn the festival tent upside down on Sunday, October 10.

Next year it’s finally time for the 40th anniversary of the festival. After two postponed years, Bospop 2022 is scheduled for Friday 8, Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 July. Once again, a large part of the original programming will move to 2022.
